You must have the ability to provide support to service users, complete risk assessments, compile and review Care Plans/Care packages You will be responsible for supporting and monitoring a team of staff.You will have at least 2 years care experience, NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable. NVQ 2 is essential.The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly with the ability cover a range of shifts.You will be able to undertake On Call duties on a rotational basis. Townfield & Coach House is one of the leading care homes in Hyndburn, renowned for the care that our residents receive and quality of meals that our Cooks prepare.
We are currently looking for a Cook to join our well-trained and friendly team of staff. You will work within the kitchen and dining area to provide nutritious and enticing meals for the residents of the care home, whilst creating an enjoyable experience for our residents.
Duties:
• Prepare breakfast and lunch for residents with the aim of achieving superlative levels of satisfaction for our residents.
• Develop relationships with our residents and understand their meal choices
• Help to plan menus and order shopping.
• Maintain a clean hazard free kitchen and dining area in order to minimise risk to residents and employees of the home
• Work safely within the company policies, seeking advice and guidance where necessary.

We are currently recruiting for motivated, flexible people to join our successful Home Care team. We operate throughout Hyndburn, Rossendale and the Ribble Valley. The role will include assisting service users within their own homes with meal preparation, medication, personal care, social outings, cleaning and other associated tasks as required. No Experience is necessary as full care certificate training is provided in our dedicated care academy. This is an ideal chance to join the social care sector or to develop your skills with diplomas and further specialised learning in health and social care.
A range of shifts are available between the hours of 7am- 1.30pm; 2.30 – 6.30pm and 6.00pm -11.30 pm. We can offer flexibility within these times. Car Owner/Driver essential.
